Arriving at Nottingham Theory Test Centre

You can go by train or bus. Train takes about 8 minutes to reach the test center, while bus takes about 2 minutes to reach the test centre.

To get to your theory test by car, if someone is kind enough to offer to drive, enter NG1 7AR onto a sat nav. Nottingham is a busy city, so give yourself plenty of extra time when getting there.

From the Maid Marian Way, turn onto Castle Gate Road. Keep an eye out as you approach the castle for the courtyard entrance or signs for Chiltern house. Parking If driving to test centre, finding your desired destination is not the only challenge you face. You see, theory tests centres very rarely provide on site parking, and Nottingham is not different. There are plenty off-site options in the surrounding area but you will have to pay for them.

There are only 17 spaces available at the Spaniel Row car park. You're going to need to get lucky if you want to park here. If you'd prefer to go to a bigger car park, the Arondale Centre has 412 spaces available. But you will be charged £2 per hour.
