Driving Abroad: How Do You Rate?

It’s a long held belief that British people often prefer not to adhere to local customs when they are abroad. Whether it’s expecting everyone you meet to speak English, or the expectation that anyone should be able to make a decent cup of tea, many Brits expect foreign cultures to be well versed in British customs. It should be no surprise therefore, to discover that when it comes to motoring abroad, British drivers are not highly rated.

Are You Driving at the ‘Right’ Speed?

No matter what country you are driving in, it’s important that you understand the speed limits and how they may differ. Driving at the wrong speed can be a problem, especially in built up areas. Most people recognise that driving too fast is not only against the law but can result in an accident, but don’t have the same concerns about driving too slowly. If you drive too slowly, you could be the unwitting cause of a major accident; it only takes a few cars going at a faster speed, and a pile up can result.
