It’s that time of year when everyone begins to look forward to the new one. This article offers a preview of what you might want to see at the 2017 London Motor Show. This coming year the show runs from Friday the 5th through Sunday the 7th of May, 2017.
What You Can Expect
The show runs over the weekend, which makes it a great choice for an enjoyable family day out. If you are into forward thinking, then you can book your tickets at the website. The London show is always well attended and the organisers are expecting a bumper year – tickets for the show are available now, and priced at £16 for adults, and if you are a family of three or four and the children are aged 11 or under, then the children’s entrance is free.
The organisers expect there to be more than a hundred and fifty cars, so there will be plenty of opportunity to find one that you like. There are some vehicles that visitors are invited to book a trial ride in, and there are lots of stalls and places to get some refreshments when you get hungry or thirsty.
Entertainment
You’ll be able to meet some of your favourite motoring legends at this year’s show, as well as having a chance to see some of the latest technical innovations in the motoring world. With all this, and some family entertainment as well, what’s not to like? Children, as well as adults, can see what motor rallies are like by watching one of the virtual reality race meetings, as well as simulated driving experiences. Why not have a go in one of those vehicles you’ve always wanted to try?
Where it’s At
The 2017 London Motor Show takes place in London’s Battersea Park – not too hard to get to, especially if you already live in London. Once you are there, if you attended last year, then you will find that there are a lot more vehicles on show this year, some of which you may be able to test drive. The team who developed the rocket fuelled plan to attempt to break the world land speed record in 2017 will be there, and you can hear all about it from the people who helped develop this machine. It’s also a great way to interest any kids who might want to become future engineers or scientists.
In Addition…
If you like classic or historic vehicles, then you won’t be disappointed. In 2016, the show had the historic Bluebird, an early land speed record breaker. In 2017, you will also be able to see how the team at Beaulieu work on historic vehicles in the National Motor Museum.
