What is Classic Car Insurance?

In recent years, more than at any other time, there has been a vogue for owning and driving classic cars. What constitutes a classic car is often a matter of opinion. Obviously, some cars are deemed a classic because of their age, or because the manufacturer may have gone out of business, amongst other reasons. At it’s most basic however, if you have a car that is more than fifteen years old, and with less than 70,000 miles on the clock, you could have a classic in your garage.

What Is Insurance Fronting?

With insurance for young drivers seeming to be ever increasing, the DVLA are hearing of reports that claim parents have been ‘insurance fronting’ for their children. Before recent years, insurance fronting was an uncommon term but in 2015 a recent study showed that one in ten parents admit to front their child’s car insurance.
